Jeffrey L. McCain is an author, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker who turned his struggle with dyslexia into a message of confidence and hope. He built McCain, Inc., a national leader in distribution and manufacturing of traffic signal lights — and now shares his story to help kids, parents, and educators find strength in their own journey.

As a child with dyslexia, Jeff often felt out of place in school. Reading didn’t come easily, and traditional expectations never fit quite right. But those early challenges taught him resilience, creativity, and the belief that success doesn’t have to look the same for everyone.

Jeff carried those lessons into adulthood, eventually founding McCain, Inc., a company known for building the traffic signals that keep cities moving. His unconventional path became proof that strength can grow from struggle — and that being yourself is one of the
greatest advantages you can have.​
Jeff lives in San Diego with his wife, Beth, their dogs, and a handful of friendly goats! He spends much of his time supporting local schools and youth programs, sometimes even bringing along a full-size traffic signal to make his story come alive. Family, community, and a bit of humor shape the grounded, uplifting perspective he shares with every audience.
