Jeff's Road to Success
Born and raised in Orange County, California, Jeffrey L. McCain honed his entrepreneurial skills working in his family’s small electrical contracting firm. Inspired by the pioneering spirit of Henry Ford, Jeff has always sought innovative solutions to meet customer needs. In 1987, Jeff founded McCain Traffic Supply as the president and CEO, transforming it into a leading manufacturer of traffic control products in the United States. The company quickly grew to become one of the largest suppliers of traffic control solutions in North America, McCain, Inc.​ Jeff’s entrepreneurial achievements were recognized in 2009 when he received the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® Award in the Consumer and Business Product and Services category. His leadership and innovation have earned him and his company numerous industry honors. In 2016, Jeff sold McCain, Inc. to SWARCO, a global transportation solutions provider, where it now operates as SWARCO McCain, Inc.​ Residing in Rancho Santa Fe, California, Jeff enjoys a fulfilling life with his wife, Beth. They have 4 children, 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. An avid learner, he spends his free time exploring business literature and industry insights through audio books, while also keeping up with current events by reading the Wall Street Journal. He finds joy in working with his hands on household projects, engaging in card games with friends and family, and sharing daily walks with his furry companions. ​​ With a heartfelt commitment to helping others, Jeff is passionate about supporting individuals who struggle with dyslexia or finding their place in life.
